The Jr Cougars 2017  National Finals Seniors are cracking the whip to keep their team in line! These kids do have fun!



The Jr Cougars Middle School Team finished as Reserve Champions at the 2017 IEA National Finals in Lexington, VA!







The Jr Cougars High School and Middle School Teams were both the 2017 Zone 4 Finals Champions at F.E.N.C.E. in Tryon, NC!




The Jr Cougars High School and Middle School Teams were the 2017 Region 8 Champions!

The Jr. Cougars were very proud to qualify both High School and Middle School Teams for the 2016 IEA National Finals! We may not have placed this year but we sure had a lot of fun enjoying the Kentucky Horse Park!

The Storybook Jr. Cougars High School and Middle School Teams both rode to the 2016 IEA Zone 4 Finals Championship qualifying them for the National Finals! Rawleigh Harris was High Point Rider and also qualified as an individual for National Finals in Open Flat. Grayson Hutchins qualified as an individual in Future Beginner Flat for National Finals also. We are very excited and proud to be heading to the Kentucky Horse Park in 2 weeks!

The Jr Cougars had a wonderful time at the 2014 National Finals in Boston! The high school team finished in third place out of 22 teams across the country! Needless to say we are very proud of this great group of young ladies!


The Jr. Cougars High School Team was Reserve Champion at the 2014 Zone 4 Finals on April 12. This qualified them to compete at the IEA National Finals this year!


The Jr. Cougars Middle School Team may not have qualified for the 2014 National Finals but they have much to be proud of at the Zone 4 Finals on April 13! This relatively young team (3 of our riders were brand new to the IEA this year) worked and supported each other in such a superb way! Chase Mauerhan qualified for the National Finals as an individual in Future Novice Fences!


The Jr. Cougars were giddy and silly after the high school and middle school teams both were the 2014 IEA Region 8 Champions on February 22!!

The Jr. Cougars High School Team ended their season in a huge way by riding their way to the 2013 IEA National Finals High School Team Champion!

The Jr. Cougars Middle SchoolTeam ended their season in a huge way for the second year in a row(last year they were Champion) by riding their way to the 2013 IEA National Finals Middle School Team Reserve Champion!


The Jr. Cougars Middle School Team was the 2013 Zone 4 Finals Champions in Murfreesboro TN on March 24. This is the second year in a row they have won this title!


The Jr. Cougars High School Team was the 2013 Zone 4 Finals Champions in Murfreesboro TN on March 23.


At the 2013 IEA Zone 4 Region 8 Region Finals the Jr. Cougars High School and Middle School Teams were the High Point teams. The region finals were held at Evermore Farm on Febrary 23, 2013. This win qualified both teams for the Zone 4 Finals in Murfreesboro TN on March 23-24. We also qualified for 15 out of the 24 individual spots for the zone finals. We are extremely excited and ready to head to Tennessee! 


The 2012 IEA National Finals were held in Syracuse NY April 20-22. It was held in the Toyota Coliseum at the New York State Fairgrounds. The Jr. Cougars Middle School Team captured the top honors and is the 2012 IEA Middle School National Champions! Darby Pease placed 7 points on the board with a team win in her Future Intermediate Flat, Sophie Mauerham also put 7 points up with a team win in her Future Beginner Flat. Anna Bradley Morrow added 3 more points by placing 4th in the team Future Novice Fences…this gave them a total of 17 points and putting the Middle School Team on top! Karoline Hankinson was the 2012 IEA Individual Future Intermediate Fences Reserve Champion winner! Hannah Pressler came in 8th in the team Future Novice Flat and was the 2012 IEA Individual Future Novice Champion! The Jr. Cougars  High School Team came in 6th out of the 19 competing teams! Fourth seemed to be our number for the weekend ; ) Annie Walters placed 4th in both her team classes of Varsity Open Fences and Flat and was 7th in her Individual Varsity Open Fences. Natalie Thorpe placed 4th in the team Varsity Intermediate fences and then Charlotte Pinckney came in with another 4th place in JV Beginner Flat bringing the team to a total of 12 points…not shabby at all!!


The Jr. Cougars Middle School Team was the IEA Zone 4 Champions March 25,1012. The Jr. Cougars High School Team came in 3rd! The team picture is lacking because we brought 22 horses to this show and we were busy trying to get them back home : )


The Jr. Cougars High School and Middle School Teams won the 2012 Region 4 Regional Finals on February 25, 2012 qualifying both teams for the Zone 4 Finals held on March 24-25. They also qualified for 9 individual spots at the Zone 4 Finals! The Zone Finals are held this year in our own back yard at Mullet Hall Equestrian Center...come and cheer on our talented Charleston riders!


The 2011 IEA National Finals was held in Upper Marlboro, Maryland at The Show Place Arena/Prince George's Equestrian Center. This photo shows Annie with her Reserve Champion ribbon in the Varsity Intermediate Over Fences Individual class along with the other top 8 riders of the class. Natalie came in with a wonderful third place win in the JV Novice Over Fences Individual class. Eliza was eighth in the Varsity Open Over Fences and also received a $500 college scholarship. These young ladies did this well against the top IEA riders in the country...CONGRATULATIONS on a job well done!!


The Zone 4 Finals were held at The University of the South in Sewanee Tennessee. The Jr. Cougars high school riders won all 3 high school over fences Individual classes. This will take them on to Nationals!!! Our Senior Eliza also won the Open Championship Class for the second year in a row!


The Zone 4, Region 4 Regional Finals were held on March 19, 2011 in Brooklet Georgia. The  Jr. Cougars made a "clean sweep" by winning ALL the high school team classes. This qualifies them for the Zone Finals! They also won 6 out of 7 Individual classes and qualifying for 6 Individual HS spots as well as 1 MS spot! It was a wonderful day to say the least!!


The Jr. Cougars placed 6th out of 19 teams at the 2010 IEA National Finals! The show was held at the Georgia International Horse Park in Conyers on April 22-25.


This is the Jr. Cougars High School Team after winning the IEA Zone 4 Championship March 21, 2010. We won with a total of 38 points. Second place had 21 points! This win takes us on to the 2010 IEA


This is the high school and middle school team riders at the IEA Zone 4 Championship Finals. We had one middle school rider qualify as an individual for Nationals for flat and fences as well as two high school riders. 


The Jr. Cougars  won the 2010 IEA Regional Finals! We will be moving onto Zone Finals March 20 - 21. We also qualified for 8 individual classes!
